(Matthew 19:13–15, NLT) “One day some parents brought their children to Jesus so he could lay his hands on them and pray for them. But the disciples scolded the parents for bothering him. But Jesus said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.” And he placed his hands on their heads and blessed them before he left.”
Jesus lays his hands on the children to bless them.
1. Ordination
2. Healing
3. Blessing
4. Impartation of the Holy Spirit
Ask God to lay his hands of blessing upon your children.
TEACH YOUR CHILDREN
1. GOD LOVES THEM
(Matthew 6:9, NLT) “Pray like this: Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy.”
2. GOD IS WORTHY OF OUR WORSHIP
(Matthew 6:9, NLT) “May your name be kept holy.”
3. GOD HAS A PURPOSE FOR MY LIFE
(Matthew 6:10, NLT) “May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.”
4. GOD WILL PROVIDE FOR ME
(Matthew 6:11, NLT) “Give us today the food we need,”
5. GOD FORGIVES ME
(Matthew 6:12, NLT) “Forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us.”
6. GOD WILL HELP ME MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICES IN LIFE
(Matthew 6:13, NLT) “And don’t let us yield to temptation ….”
7. GOD WILL RESCUE ME FROM THE EVIL ONE
(Matthew 6:13, NLT) “Rescue us from the evil one.”
8. GOD HAS A HOME FOR ME IN HEAVEN
(Matthew 6:13) “For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.”
