(2 Samuel 22:29, NLT) “O Lord, you are my lamp. The Lord lights up my darkness.

(John 1:1–5, NLT) “In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. He existed in the beginning with God. God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him. The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.

GOD STEPPED INTO THE DARKNESS OF OUR SIN TO BRING US THE LIGHT OF HIS PRESENCE.

(John 12:46, NLT) “I have come as a light to shine in this dark world, so that all who put their trust in me will no longer remain in the dark.

1. GOD’S WORD IS REVELATION LIGHT THAT MAKES US RADIANT.

(Psalm 19:9-10, PT) “The revelation-light of His Word makes my spirit shine radiant. Every one o the Lord’s commands is right; following them brings cheer. Nothing He says ever needs to be changed.”

2. JESUS WILL TAKE ME BY THE HAND AND KEEP ME FROM FALLING.

(Isaiah 42:16, Message) “But I’ll take the hand of those who don’t know the way, who can’t see where they’re going. I’ll be a personal guide to them, directing them through unknown country. I’ll be right there to show them what roads to take, make sure they don’t fall into the ditch. These are the things I’ll be doing for them— sticking with them, not leaving them for a minute.”

3. THE LIGHT OF JESUS WILL CHANGE ME, HEAL ME, COMFORT ME AND GROW ME.

(Ephesians 5:8-10) “Once your life was full of sin’s darkness, but now you have the very light of our Lord shining through you because of your union with Him. Your mission is to live as children flooded with his revelation-light! And the supernatural fruits of his light will be seen in you—goodness, righteousness, and truth. The you will learn to choose what is beautiful to our Lord.”

(John 10:10, NCV) “I came to give life—life in all its fullness.
